A: if your camera is listed under "lite" it means it only supports the features from the lite version which means no liveview. Cameras that are listed under "pro" of course also support the lite features.
A: you have to create new wifi settings to allow the app to connect. you cannot reuse the settings of some other app even if everything else is the same.
A: On most cameras video recording only works with usb connection. To record videos over wifi you need either a new Canon (6Dm2, 5Dm4, R series) or Nikon Z.
A: For Nikon cameras it is necessary to make 3 captures if your camera is set to continous shooting. Otherwise you would have to make 3 captures when using HDR bracketing. Just set your camera to single frame shooting and it will make only 1 capture.

A: These are the same icons used by your camera. you should already know them. you can do a long press to see its name.
A: max bitmap size in android is 4096x4096(=16 MP). so if one of these dimension is bigger than that downsampling of at least factor 2 is necessary. so in the best case a 24 MP file will only have 6MP (factor 2 in both dimensions: 24/4=6). To avoid crashes the pictures will be downsampled by a higher factor if you have less then 3.5 GB RAM.
A: This is a newly created file of the data on your camera. Therefore the date is different. Android also does not allow to change the date. To have a correct sorting of your pics please use a gallery app that is considering the exif data for sorting.
